An orthodontic device used in conjunction with a wire. Wherein said orthodontic device includes a base unit mounted to a tooth, and a detachable cover unit mounted to the base unit. The base unit includes a main body, and a plurality of limit columns disposed to said main body. The main body having a bonding surface mounted to a tooth, and a first limit surface which is opposite to said bonding surface. Said limit columns are disposed on said first limit surface. Said two adjacent limit columns define a limit slot for said wire to slide through. The cover unit is detachable and mounts to said limit columns.
