PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fungicidal composition useful as an agricultural and horticultural fungicide having remarkably improved controlling effects against plant diseases, and a method for controlling plant diseases using the composition.SOLUTION: The fungicidal composition comprises, as active ingredients, (a)3-(2,3,4-trimemethoxy-6-methylbenzoyl)-5-chloro-2-methoxy-4-methylpyridine or its salt and (b) at least one fungicide selected from the group consisting of bixafen, fluxapyroxad, penflufen, isopyrazam, fluopyram, ametoctradin, fenpyrazamine and sedaxane, and the method for controlling plant diseases comprises applying the fungicidal composition to plants.【課題】 植物病害に対する防除効果を格段に向上させた農園芸用殺菌剤として有用な殺菌剤組成物及びその組成物を用いる植物病害の防除方法を提供する。【解決手段】 （ａ）3-(2,3,4-トリメトキシ-6-メチルベンゾイル)-5-クロロ-2-メトキシ-4-メチルピリジン又はその塩と、（ｂ）ビキサフェン、フルキサピロキサド、ペンフルフェン、イソピラザム、フルオピラム、アメトクトラジン、フェンピラザミン及びセダキサンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の殺菌剤とを有効成分として含有することを特徴とする殺菌剤組成物、前記殺菌剤組成物を植物に施用することを特徴とする植物病害の防除方法を提供する。【選択図】 なし
