PURPOSE: A novel oxadiazole derivative for regulating differentiation of neural stem cells and a clinical use thereof are provided to differentiate neural stem cells into nerve cells especially astrocytes and to prevent or treat diseases caused by neuronal injury.CONSTITUTION: A composition for inducing differentiation of neural stem cells into nerve cells contains a 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivative of chemical formula 1 or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.
