PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain function measuring apparatus which can measure a higher brain function activity elicited by stimulations separately from a lower brain function activity by a simple construction when brain function is detected by presenting stimulations to a subject.SOLUTION: The brain function measuring apparatus measures brain function by presenting stimulations to the subject. It includes: a stimulation presenting means which presents several stimulations to the subject a brain function measuring means which measures the brain function activity of the subject reacting to the several stimulations and a control means which controls the whole apparatus including the stimulation presenting means and the brain function measuring means. The stimulation presenting means is so constructed that it can present several stimulations, which have no cognitive meaning when presented in a separate manner and have a meaning when presented simultaneously as a combined stimulation, as the combined stimulation at a predetermined period with a control of the control means.
