PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a connector by connecting each blunt cannula to the male luer taper of another medical instrument.SOLUTION: A needleless access luer connector is disclosed that has a septum 20 disposed in a housing. The septum 20 has a proximal end part with a cross section, an intermediate part with a cross section smaller than the cross section of the proximal end part, and a distal end part. A longitudinal slit penetrates through the septum 20 from the proximal end to the distal end. The septum 20 and the housing are designed so that the septum 20 is removed from the housing without being rotated when the connector is accessed by the male luer taper.
