PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncturing device for preventing a button from being operated when a puncture needle is mounted on the puncturing device, or for reducing the frequency of the operations.SOLUTION: The puncturing device 1 is used when a puncture needle tip 12 is removably mounted on a distal end part to puncture the surface of a living body. The case body 102 of the puncturing device 1 has a rib 6 which is arranged so as to enclose a puncture button 116. The rib 6 has a frame shape corresponding to the outer shape of the puncture button 116 and arranged so as to enclose the whole circumference of the puncture button 160. The case body 102 also has two recesses 71, 72 in the neighborhood of the puncture button 116.
