The present invention relates to a novel scolopendrasin-4 peptide which promotes the growth of large intestine epithelial cells and a composition thereof. More specifically, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a peptide which promotes the growth of large intestine epithelial cells, wherein the peptide is synthesized from an amino acid which is represented by sequence number 1 and derived from a gene of a peptide isolated from Scolopendra subspinipes. According to the present invention, by providing the novel scolopendrasin-4 peptide which promotes the growth of large intestine epithelial cells, it is possible to provide a composition for preventing and treating inflammatory large bowel disease as a novel substance which improves the inflammatory large bowel without causing cytotoxicity.본 발명은 대장상피세포의 성장을 촉진하는 신규 스콜로펜드라신-4 펩타이드 및 그의 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명은 서열번호 1으로 표현되며, 왕지네(Scolopendra subspinipes)로부터 분리한 펩타이드의 유전자에서 연역된 아미노산에서 합성되어 대장상피세포의 성장을 촉진하는 펩타이드를 제공하고자 한다.본 발명에 의해, 대장상피세포의 성장을 촉진하는 신규 스콜로펜드라신-4 펩타이드가 제공됨에 따라, 세포 독성이 없고 새로운 대장염증개선 물질로서의 염증성 대장질환 예방 및 치료용 조성물이 제공된다.
