According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a medical arm assembly comprising: a remote joint in which a remote point is positioned； a position regulating arm unit which supports the remote joint, moves the remote joint so that the relative position of the remote point from a reference point can change only in a virtual reference straight line direction which passes the reference point and the remote point, and fixes the relative position of the remote point； an operating arm unit which is connected to the remote joint, in which a medical tool can be fixed, and which rotates the tool on a remote rotary shaft that is at right angles to the reference straight line and passes the remote point, and moves the tool in the direction that is at right angles to the remote rotary shaft and passes the remote point； and an arm supporting unit which is supported by connection of the position regulating arm unit and the operating arm unit, and in which the reference point is positioned.
