The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water nanoemulsion comprising (i) at least 40% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of one or more fatty substances including at least one vegetable oil, (ii) one or more cationic surfactants, and (iii) water. The subject of the invention is also a process for the cosmetic treatment of keratinous substances, in particular human keratinous fibers such as the hair, in which the above composition is applied to said fibers. Finally, the invention relates to the use of the above composition for the cosmetic treatment of keratinous substances, in particular human keratinous fibers such as the hair.
