An antibody that binds to thymic stromal lymphopoitein (TSLP). The antibody comprises LCDR, LCDR2 and LCDR3 having the SEQ ID NOs: 13, 60 and 105 respectively and the HCDR1, HCDR2 and HCDR3 having the SEQ ID NOs: 145, 173 and 212 or the light and heavy chains amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 363 and 361 respectively. The antibody can be used for treating TLSP-related inflammatory conditions or fibrotic disorders. The disease to be treated can be allergic asthma, allergic rhinosinusitis, allergic conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, scleroderma, interstitial lung disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, fibrosis resulting from hepatitis B or C, radiation induced fibrosis and fibrosis arising from wound healing.
