PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion instrument configured to reliably and stably perform simultaneous fixing of a plurality of linear members for varying an operating state of an action portion provided at an insertion portion in a simple structure.SOLUTION: The insertion instrument includes at least two inner guide sheaths 40, and a linear member fixing mechanism. The linear member fixing mechanism includes a guide member 117, brake members 118 and 119, a cam 120, and a cam turning mechanism.
