The invention relates to a harvester head (1) and a method for controlling debarking properties in a harvester head (1). The harvester head (1) according to the invention has a frame (2) and tree processing members (6, 7, 9, 11) attached to the frame. The tree processing members (6, 7, 9, 11) define a longitudinal tree processing route of the harvester head. The tree processing members include at least one debarking member (11, 11). The debarking member (11, 11 ) according to the invention has a base part (13) and a knife part (16) attached to each other with a detachable attachment (14, 15). The base part (13) is attached to the frame. The knife part (16) is meant to debark the tree trunk (10) on the tree processing route.Linvention concerne une tête dabattage-ébranchage (1) et un procédé de contrôle des propriétés décorçage dune tête dabattage-ébranchage (1).
