PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive absorbent auxiliary pad capable of appropriately preventing a leak of soft stool or the like.SOLUTION: An absorbent auxiliary pad 1 is to be disposed on an absorbent article such as a paper diaper, the absorbent auxiliary pad including a liquid permeable sheet 30 and an absorber 20 disposed on the body side surface of the liquid permeable sheet 30. The absorber 20 is formed in an approximately O-shape or approximately U-shape from a front part a to a back part b in a plan view and, further, is divided into a fixed region 20A fixed on the liquid permeable sheet 30 and a non-fixed region 20B that is not fixed on the liquid permeable sheet 30 and has flexibility in a plan view.
