PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary blade for grass mower, a protection member for grass mower, and a portable power grass mower, capable of reducing burden on a power source of the grass mower, improving cutting performance, and suppressing peripheral scatter of cut weeds, etc.SOLUTION: A rotary blade A1 for a grass mower includes: a holding member 1 attached to a rotary blade attachment shaft 44 of a grass mower B and rotated and a cord-shaped cutting member 3 held by the holding member 1 on a base end side and a protection member 2 rotated together with the holding member 1, extended on an outer side in a radial direction than the holding member 1 on a whole circumference in a circumferential direction of the rotation, and situated on an upper side than the cord-shaped cutting member 3.
