The carrier is adapted to receive a syringe containing a hollow injection needle and a plug. The plunger is configured to transmit the drive spring load to the plug. The noise generating component is configured to generate audible and/or tactile feedback upon collision with injection device components when the plug is located at the proximal end of the syringe. At that, in the first state, the elastic foot on the plunger is maintained in engagement with the noise generating component by means of the carrier.
