The present invention relates to: a method for manufacturing a pest repellent powder for an architectural paint with the particle size of 3 to 10 μm, which comprises the following steps: a first step for manufacturing spherical porous silica at an acidic condition； and a second step for impregnating the silica under neutral conditions with at least one insect repellent component selected from a group consisting of Pinene, Limonene, Linatool, Menthol and Terpenol； a pest repellent powder manufactured by the method； a composition for an architectural paint containing the pest repellent powder； and a manufacturing method thereof.본 발명은 산성 조건에서 구형의 다공성 실리카를 제조하는 제1단계； 및 중성 조건 하에서 상기 실리카에 피넨(Pinene), 리모넨(Limonene), 리나툴(Linatool), 멘톨(Menthol) 및 테르페놀(Terpenol)로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 해충기피 성분을 함침하는 제2단계를 포함하는, 입경이 3 내지 10㎛인 구형의 건축 도료용 해충기피 분말의 제조방법, 상기 방법에 따라 제조된 해충기피 분말, 해충기피 분말을 포함하는 건축 도료용 조성물 및 이의 제조방법을 제공한다.
