PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a medical image by using related information even at a transmission destination.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a medical information processing device includes an image storage part, a reduction image generation part, a related information for reduction generation part, and a transmission part. The image storage part stores a medical image with identification information associated therewith, and related information related to medical information corresponding to the identification information. The reduction image generation part generates identification information for reduction for identifying a reduction image obtained by reducing the medical image. The related information for reduction generation part generates related information for reduction including identification information for reduction corresponding to the reduction image on the basis of related information.
