PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine injection device comprising a pain-reduction member.SOLUTION: There is provided an injection device (1,10) comprising: a medicine container； means for injecting a medicine to a patient from a medicine container through a needle； a skin contact surface (10b) capable of being traversed by the needle and comprising protrusions (14a, b) to be pressed to the surroundings of an injection site when applying an injection device to the skin of a patient for injection, the protrusions (14a, b) are arranged so as to reduce pain caused by penetration of the needle； and a sensor for detecting contact of the skin of the patient with the skin contact surface. Here, in order for the sensor to detect the skin of the patient, prescribed force for applying the injection device to the skin of the patient is required.
