摘要:
597302 A respiratory mask assembly , comprising a frame 12', an elbow assembly supported by the frame 12' and adapted to connect to an air delivery conduit, a cushion provided to the frame, the cushion including a face contacting portion comprising an elastomeric material, and a breathing chamber forming portion, and, at least a portion of the cushion structured to provide flexibility and travel to the face contacting portion , where the frame defines an opening exposing at least a part of an exterior of the breathing chamber forming portion of the cushion, and a forehead support 16' provided with a forehead cushion 54' that is structured to engage a patient's forehead. The upper portion of the frame includes a support arm 13' and a housing provided to a free end of the support arm 13'. The forehead support 16' is slidably mounted to an upper portion of the frame by a slider that is received within a receiving space defined by the housing. The slider is able to slide in the housing to move the forehead support 16' between an extended position and a retracted position. The slider includes a free end that is enclosed by the housing throughout movement between the extended position and the retracted position. The movement of the forehead support 16' between the extended and retracted position is linear and substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the support arm 13'. The forehead support 16' includes a stop that is configured to prevent the forehead support 16' moving beyond the fully extended position with respect to the frame. The assembly further comprises a finger-operated push button 46 associated with at least one tab adapted to be selectively positioned in one of a plurality of slots to positively lock the forehead support 16' relative to the frame in one of the plurality of predetermined fixed positions. The finger-operated push button 46 is resiliently urged in a first position in which the forehead support 16' is prevented from moving relative to
