PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device of an excrement treatment chamber capable of removing odor generated in a toilet for men or the other excrement treatment chambers, and preventing the odor from reaching the head of a user.SOLUTION: An air purification device 1 is disposed in an excrement treatment chamber, and provided with an air suction port 2 and an odor removal layer and an air outlet 4. The air suction port 2 is positioned near an odor generation place A caused by excrement. The odor generation place A is, for example, a urinal 20 and a floor surface 21 below the urinal 20. The odor removal layer causes air sucked from the air suction port 2 to pass to remove odor components in the air. The odor removal layer is, for example, a plant growth base on whose partial surface plants 3 are planted. The air outlet 4 blows out the air whose odor components have been removed by the odor removal layer to the vicinity of the head of a person who is present near the odor generation place. When the odor removal layer is the plant growth base, the air suction port 4 is the greening surface of the plant growth base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 男子用便所や他の排泄物処理室で発生する臭気を除去することができ、かつ使用者の頭部に臭気がかかるのを防ぐことができる排泄物処理室の空気浄化装置を提供する。【解決手段】 空気浄化装置1は排泄物処理室に設けられ、空気吸込口2と臭気除去層と空気吹出口4とを有する。空気吸込口2は、排泄物に起因する臭気発生場所Aの近傍に位置する。臭気発生場所Aは、例えば小便器20および小便器20の下方の床面21である。臭気除去層は、空気吸込口2から吸い込まれた空気を通過させて空気中の臭気成分を除去する。臭気除去層は、例えば一部の面に植物3が植えられた植物生育基盤である。空気吹出口4は、臭気除去層によって臭気成分が除去された空気を臭気発生場所の近傍に居る人の頭部の近くに吹き出す。臭気除去層が植物生育基盤である場合、空気吹出口4は植物生育基盤の緑化面である。【選択図】 図1
