PURPOSE: An aqueous nanoemulsion composition containing mastic gum is provided to ensure bioavailability and for excellent storage and pH stability.CONSTITUTION: An aqueous nanoemulsion composition containing mastic gum contains 5-60 wt% of mastic gum, 5-50 wt% of oil, 3-30 wt% of polyglycerin fatty acid ester as an emulsifier, 0.1-15 wt% of sugar fatty acid ester, 1-40 wt% of propylene glycol, and water for the remaining amount. The mastic gum is obtained from Pistacia lentiscus. The viscosity of the composition is 1-100 Cp. The oil includes olive oil, sunflower seed oil, MCT(medium chain triglyceride), jojoba oil, or macadamia oil.
