PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming and storing a roll bale in which the removal work of a wrap net is easy, the influence to livestock is reduced even when the debris of the wrap net is mixed in feed, and the deformation of a cylindrical shape of the roll bale is reduced and the yield of the feedstuff such as grass is preferable.SOLUTION: A method for forming and storing a roll bale has a compression step of compressing feedstuff being reaped or cut in a predetermined length into a cylindrical shape, a forming step of wrapping the cylindrical feedstuff after the compression step with a wrap net and forms a roll bale, and a storage step of carrying and storing the roll bale after the forming step. The wrap net is a knitting product or net fabric with yarn comprising cellulose of 100% arranged in a grid pattern. The mesh of grid of the wrap net is configured such that the interval in the warp direction is in a range of 0.5-5.0 cm, and the interval in the weft direction is in a range of 0.5-5.0 cm. This wrap net is characterized by being stacked and wound by 2 laps or more on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical feedstuff.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】ラップネットの除去作業が容易で、ラップネットの残渣が飼料に混入した場合でも家畜への影響が少なく、且つ、ロールベールの円筒形状の変形が少なく、牧草などの飼料材料の歩留まりのよいロールベールの成形・保管方法を提供する。【解決手段】刈取り又は所定長さに切断した飼料材料を円筒状に圧縮する圧縮工程と、圧縮工程後の円筒状飼料材料をラップネットで包み込んでロールベールを成形する成形工程と、成形工程後のロールベールを運搬・保管する保管工程とを有し、ラップネットは、セルロース100%からなる糸が格子状に配列された編織物又は網地であって、当該ラップネットの格子の目開きは、経方向の間隔が0.5cm~5.0cmの範囲内であり、且つ、緯方向の間隔が0.5cm~5.0cmの範囲内である。このラップネットを円筒状飼料材料の外周面に2周以上重ね巻きすることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
