The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the synergistic combination of a selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase ll, its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and a carbamate derived from guaifenesin. Said formulations expressed with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and/or vehicles and/or additives in a single dosage, administered orally, dermally or transdermal, or topically, indicated for the treatment of pain, inflammation, and muscular contracture. Said combination produces a triple analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxant effect, being better tolerated and with less adverse effects in patients with muscle pain, inflammation, and contracture.La presente invención se refiere a una composición farmacéutica que comprende la combinación sinérgica de un inhibidor selectivo de la ciclooxigenasa ll, como lo es el principio activo: celecoxib y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables y un carbamato derivado de la guaifenesina, como lo es el principio activo: metocarbamol y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, los cuales se encuentran formulados con excipientes y/o vehículos y/o aditivos farmacéuticamente aceptables en una sola unidad de dosificación para ser administrado por vía oral, dérmica o transdérmica, o tópica, misma que está indicada para el tratamiento del dolor, inflamación y contractura muscular, en la que dicha combinación produce un triple efecto analgésico, antiinflamatorio y relajante muscular, siendo mejor tolerada y con menores efectos adversos en pacientes con dolor, inflamación y contractura muscular.
