METHOD FOR APPLYING A SUPERABSORBENT POLYMER ONTO A FIBROUS SHEET MATERIAL AND A DOUBLE-OR MULTIPLY FIBROUS MATERIAL CONTAINING SUPERABSORBENT MATERIAL
A method is provided for applying a superabsorbent polymer to a fibrous sheet material. The fibrous sheet material may be a nonwoven material or a tissue paper. The method comprises: applying a crosslinkable polymeric dispersion onto the fibrous sheet material by printing technique and in a separate step applying a crosslinking agent onto the fibrous sheet material by printing technique, wherein said crosslinking agent accomplishes crosslinking of said crosslinkable polymer to form a superabsorbent material and wherein a neutralizing agent is added together with the crosslinking agent or in a separate step. The invention further refers to a tissue or nonwoven product comprising at least two plies that are bonded together, wherein a crosslinked superabsorbent material is applied in a printed pattern between the plies, said tissue or nonwoven product having a DIN54540 Water Absorption between 15 and 100 g/g.Linvention concerne un procédé pour appliquer un polymère superabsorbant à un matériau en feuille fibreux. Le matériau en feuille fibreux peut être un matériau non tissé ou un papier absorbant. Le procédé comprend : lapplication dune dispersion polymère réticulable sur le matériau en feuille fibreux par une technique dimpression et dans une étape indépendante lapplication dun agent de réticulation sur le matériau en feuille fibreux par une technique dimpression, ledit agent de réticulation réalisant la réticulation dudit polymère réticulable pour former un matériau superabsorbant et un agent neutralisant étant ajouté conjointement avec lagent de réticulation ou dans une étape indépendante. Linvention concerne en outre un produit de papier absorbant ou de non-tissé comprenant au moins deux couches qui sont liées lune à lautre, un matériau superabsorbant réticulé étant appliqué en un motif imprimé entre les couches, ledit produit de papier absorbant ou de non-tissé ayant une absorption deau DIN54540 comprise entre 15 et 100 g/g.
