PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation which promotes production of hyaluronic acid, tones the texture of a skin surface, supports the three-dimensional structure of the skin surface to keep skin supple and radiant, prevents decrease of a water-holding capacity with senescence, and which is effective against articular rheumatism, suppurative arthritis, and gouty arthritis.SOLUTION: A hyaluronic acid synthesis promoter includes a protein hydrolysate derived from a pearl and/or a pearl layer as an active ingredient.【課題】本発明の目的は 本発明の目的はヒアルロン酸の産生を促進し、肌表面のキメを整え、肌表面の立体的な構造を支え肌にハリや艶を保ち、老化に伴う皮膚の保水力の減少を防ぎ、さらには関節リウマチ、化膿性関節炎や通風性関節炎に有効な製剤を得ることである。【解決手段】真珠及び／又は真珠層由来蛋白加水分解物を有効成分とするヒアルロン酸合成促進剤が本課題を解決することがわかった。【選択図】図１
