PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer 1 which can ensure a wide display screen while giving a light and compact impression by making the display panel section 4 thinner.SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer includes a measuring element 2 in which a part 28 for measurement for measuring a blood pressure is housed in a body section 6, and a cuff 3. For the measuring element 2, the flat plate-like display panel section 4 which simply includes a display section for displaying a measured blood pressure value is arranged in a manner to be projected upward from the body section 6. The cuff 3 has a cuff band 7 and an air tube.
