PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butt guide capable of supporting a rod by continuously holding a butt part of a rod held with one hand in the wrist or the elbow even when a fish suddenly changes force of pulling and a traveling direction from hooking the fish to taking in the fish.SOLUTION: A butt guide 1 constituted of a semicircular guide 2 and a guide fitting seat 3 is fixed to a butt part 4 of a rod body 5, and is applied to the wrist or the elbow and placed by previously raising the semicircular guide 2 of the butt guide 1, or applied to the wrist or the elbow by raising the semicircular guide 2 when hooking a fish. When fixing the butt guide 1 to the arm, the butt guide is used by raising the semicircular guide 2 as described above, and previously applying the butt part 4 of the rod body 5 held in the hand to the semicircular guide 2 and placing, or raising the semicircular guide 2 when hooking the fish, and applying the butt part 4, and a length where a leverage is acted from a P fulcrum of a reel seat part 7 held in the hand to a F2 point of the semicircular guide 2 is secured so as to cope with force pulled by the fish.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT【課題】魚をかけ魚を取り込むまでの間に、魚が引く力や走る方向を急に変えても、片手で持つ竿の竿尻部を手首又は肘に継続的に維持し、竿を支える事が出来る竿尻ガイドを提供する。【解決手段】半円状ガイド２およびガイド取り付け座３で構成される竿尻ガイド１を竿本体５の竿尻部４に固定し、手首又は肘に予め竿尻ガイド１の半円状ガイド２を起こして当てて置くか、魚をかけた際に半円状ガイド２を起こし手首又は肘に当てる。また腕に竿尻ガイド１を固定した場合は、前述同様に半円状ガイド２を起こし、手に持った竿本体５の竿尻部４を予め半円状ガイド２に当てて置くか、魚をかけた際に半円状ガイド２を起こし竿尻部４を当てて使用する等を行い、手に持ったリールシート部７のＰ支点から半円状ガイド２のＦ２点迄のテコが作用する長さを確保することで魚が引く力に対処できる。【選択図】図５
