The present invention relates to a medicine dose monitoring method and a device thereof. The medicine dose monitoring device includes at least one fixture, at least one contact image sensor (CIS) scanning module and a processing module. The fixture fixes a medicine delivery device. The CIS scanning module is arranged at a side of the fixture and includes at least one light source and at least one light sensing element. The processing module is electrically connected to the CIS scanning module. In the medicine dose monitoring method, the CIS scanning module scans the medicine delivery device to obtain a plurality of photometric values, and a continuous bright area or a continuous dark area of the photometric values is utilized for determining a medicine section. A measuring value is calculated according to the medicine section, and a dose is calculated according to the measuring value and a previous measuring value.
