PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic kneading device for an impression material, which has a simple mechanism and detects the shortage of a remaining amount of pastes of an impression material in packages with accuracy.SOLUTION: The automatic kneading device 1 for an impression material which kneads at least two kinds of pastes for forming a dental impression material and discharges them includes: a hanging means 14 for hanging the packages 20 that are bag-shaped containers including the paste a moving member 13 which is provided to be movable in a direction where the package is hung and has a region 13b protruding toward the package a detecting means which detects the moving member when the moving member reaches a prescribed position and transmits a signal and a control means which inhibits the discharge of an impression material by receiving the signal from the detecting means.
