A pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment or prevention of disorders associated with ischemia, said composition comprising a mitochondrial damage-inhibiting agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, and biocompatible particles encapsulating either or both of the mitochondrial damage-inhibiting agent and the anti-inflammatory agent. The biocompatible particle may include a poly(lactide-glycolide) copolymer having a number average particle diameter of 2.5 to 1000 nm, or a polyethylene glycol-modified material derived therefrom.Linvention concerne une composition pharmaceutique destinée à être utilisée dans le traitement ou la prévention de troubles à caractère ischémique, ladite composition comprenant un agent inhibiteur des dommages dorigine mitochondriale, un agent anti-inflammatoire et des particules biocompatibles encapsulant lun ou les deux de ces agents, lagent inhibiteur des dommages dorigine mitochondriale et lagent anti-inflammatoire.
