PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device of a user position on an air mat capable of detecting a position of a user on an air mat of an air mat type at a low cost and also detecting a sleep posture of the user.SOLUTION: The air mat is configured by arranging plural bag-shaped cells in a width direction and in a longitudinal direction of the air mat. In order to detect a position of a user on the air mat, differential pressure sensors 4-8 are arranged which detect differential pressure of air pressure in at least a part of pairs of bag-shaped cells 1-3 adjacent in the air mat width direction and pairs of bag-shaped cells 1-3 adjacent in the air mat longitudinal direction. A bag-shaped cell having high pressure is detected based on the differential pressure and presence of the users body on the cell can be detected.
