PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable athletic monitoring device capable of recording information on a performance of an individual in the middle of athletic activity by means of a sensor and providing feedback relating to the performance of the individual.SOLUTION: A sensor device can be used to monitor the athletic activity of an individual wearing an apparel into which an electronic device has been embedded. The sensor device includes a memory, a wireless interface, and one or more processors. With these elements, the sensor device receives instructions indicating which sensor data should be collected, collects the sensor data, stores the sensor data, and transmits the stored sensor data to a remote device upon completion of the activity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
