PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tomato's three-kind laterally three-branched seedling high in percentage of rootage of grafting, and capable of harvesting a lot of tomatos using a small-sized pot and a small amount of culture soil in a small seedbed in a short period of raising seedling. SOLUTION: This tomato's three-kind laterally three-branched seedling F1 is obtained through the following process: separating at least three kinds of scion seedlings A, B and C each with two cotyledons A1, B1 and C2 and a plurality of leaves A2, B2 and C2 into desired two scion seedlings and one rootstock seedling; cutting respective stems of the scion seedlings each at a point between the cotyledon and a first leaf to make a scion with cotyledons; cutting respective stems of the rootstock seedlings at a point between its cotyledon and the first leaf to make a nipped rootstock with cotyledons; grafting the above scion to the nipped rootstock in series; cutting the scion seedling and the nipped rootstock seedlings at the other base thereof with the base of one cotyledons of the two left; and making lateral branches A-2, B-2 and C-2 shoot each from the remaining bases to make every lateral branch grow.
