PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a mirror reflection component for acquiring an image optimal for observation.SOLUTION: An endoscope according to the disclosure comprises: a radiation part for emitting linear polarization for radiating the same to a subject and a first linear polarization plate for transmitting light which enters from the subject and then making the light enter an imaging element. A relative angle between an orientation of the linear polarization which enters from the subject to the first linear polarization plate and a polarization axis of the first linear polarization plate can be changed. Therefore, a transmission amount of the mirror reflection component on the first linear polarization plate can be optimally controlled, and the images optimal for observation can be obtained using the mirror reflection component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】鏡面反射成分を利用して観察に最適な画像を得る。【解決手段】本開示に係る内視鏡装置は、直線偏光を出射して被写体へ照射する照射部と、被写体から入射した光線を透過して撮像素子に入射させる第1の直線偏光板と、を備え、被写体から前記第1の直線偏光板に入射した直線偏光の向きと前記第1の直線偏光板の偏光軸との相対角度が変更可能とされる。これにより、第1の直線偏光板における鏡面反射成分の透過量を最適に制御することができ、鏡面反射成分を利用して観察に最適な画像を得ることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
