The present invention relates to a medical fiber structure comprising chitosan. More specifically, the present invention relates to a medical fiber structure comprising chitosan and a production method thereof. To this end, a base yarn and a chitosan yarn are woven to form the fiber structure, while the content of the chitosan yarn with respect to the total weight of the fiber structure 30-70 parts by weight. According to the present invention, 30-70 parts by weight of the chitosan yarn is used with respect to the whole fiber structure rather than coating chitosan over a surface of the fiber structure or producing the fiber structure 100% with a chitosan fiber, and the rest is made of the base yarn, thereby securing excellent price competitiveness.
