A hydraulic system comprising a first hydraulic line (3) which is connected to a hydraulic fluid source, and a second hydraulic line (4) which is connected to a hydraulic receiver (5), as well as a first consumer (Ca) and a second consumer (Cb) which are connected in parallel with each other between the first hydraulic line and the second hydraulic line for being activated in sequence, said consumers each comprising a first hydraulic port (1a, 1b), which is connected to the first hydraulic line, and a second hydraulic port (2a, 2b), which is connected to the second hydraulic line.
