A hydrophilic membrane layer (7 8) is arranged within the storage compartment (4), which is gas-tight in a wet condition, and which at least covers the outlet opening (6) and contacts the liquid (9) stored within the storage compartment (4). A dosing assembly and a device for automated release of a medical or pharmaceutical liquid comprising or and/or capable of using at least one container (1 ) are disclosed.
