The disclosure includes a method of screening for, diagnosing or detecting non-small cell lung carcinoma or an increased likelihood of developing non-small cell lung carcinoma in a subject. The method comprises:(a) determining the level of at least one biomarker in a test sample from the subject wherein the at least one biomarker is selected from the biomarkers set out in Table 2, 4A, 4B, 6 and/or 7 and(b) comparing the level of the at least one biomarker in the test sample with a controlwherein detecting a difference in the level of the at least one biomarker in the test sample compared to the control is indicative of whether the subject has or does not have non-small cell lung carcinoma or an increased likelihood of developing non-small cell lung carcinoma.
