A device for easily creating a database of an alternate normal brain.A CPU (12) captures brain function images of respective persons and spatially deforms thereof so as to match with an anatomical standard brain. The CPU (12) compares the state values of the respective persons for each region of standardized brain function images, thereby identifying state values estimated to indicate a brain disease, calculating an ESD (extream studentized deviate), and excluding outliers. The CPU (12) subjects all the regions to the excluding process. The CPU (12) calculates averages values and standard deviations for each region on the basis of the brain function images from which disease data is excluded. The average values and the standard deviations are associated with information pointing out the position of each region and recorded as the database of the alternative normal brain.
