The invention relates to an evaluation device for children’s footstep reaction and a method thereof. A plurality of signal transmission units and signal receiving units which are opposite and can transmit signals are disposed at a reaction testing area respectively. The signal receiving units are electrically connected with a central processing unit. The central processing unit is electrically connected to a display unit and a plurality of light prompt units correspondingly arranged at the reaction testing area. The central processing unit drives any one of the light prompt units randomly, and the subject treads the corresponding reaction testing area with feet according to the light prompt unit. Then the signals between the signal transmission units and the signal receiving units at the reaction testing area will be interrupted. Meanwhile the central processing unit will calculate the time from that a prompt is issued by the light prompt unit to that the feet is placed at the correct location of the reaction testing area, display the time through the display unit and record it. Thus the user can inspect the reaction time of the footsteps of each subject according to such mode.本發明係有關於一種幼兒腳步反應評估裝置及方法,係利用在反應測試區分別設置複數個彼此相對應而能傳輸訊號之訊號發射單元與訊號接收單元,訊號接收單元與中央處理單元電性連接,中央處理單元電性連接一顯示單元與複數個燈光提示單元,各燈光提示單元對應設於各反應測試區;中央處理單元隨機驅動任意一燈光提示單元,測試者依據燈光提示單元以腳踩踏相對應之反應測試區,踩踏後,對應該反應測試區之訊號發射單元與訊號接收單元間之訊號將被遮斷,此時中央處理單元便會進行計算從燈光提示單元的提示到腳對應置於正確反應測試區之時間,並透過顯示單元顯示,同時加以記錄,如此,使用者便能依據此一模式,檢測出每位受測試者之腳步的反應時間。(3)...訊號發射單元(4)...訊號接收單元(5)...中央處理單元(6)...顯示單元(7)...燈光提示單元(8)...電源供應單元
