The invention relates to a casing for limb prosthesis and its method of manufacture. The casing (1) is formed by a wall (5) having an outer surface (6) and an inner surface (7) delimiting a cavity (8) for receiving said prosthesis (2). the wall (5) has a thickness of less than 0.5 mm and is formed by a composite material having an elastic elongation rate greater than or equal to 200%. The composite material comprises a reinforcing fabric (10) embedded in a polymer matrix (11). The fabric (10) is formed of textile fibers having a fineness of between 20 denier and 30 denier.L'invention concerne une enveloppe d'habillage pour prothèse d'un membre et son procédé de fabrication.
