PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toilet sand which is used by being bedded on the upper side of a double-structure toilet for a pet, is broken and falls to the lower part of a grating member four to five days after when an odor is generated due to the intrusion of urea, and is easy in exchange before the generation of the odor.SOLUTION: The mixture obtained by adding 4 pts.wt. of corn starch, 1.5 pts.wt. of solid paraffin powder, and 0.5 pt.wt. of aluminum sulfate to 100 pts.wt. of cedar powder, is stirred and mixed by a ribbon mixer, and a proper volume of water is added and then kneading is performed by the ribbon mixer, and after that, the mixture is formed into pellet-shaped articles by using roll-type pressurization molding machine (disk pelleting machine). The diameter of the pellet is 5 mm, and the length is cut at 7 mm, and after that, the pellets are dried by a vibration dryer.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】二重構造のペット用トイレの上部側に敷き詰めて使用するトイレ砂であって、尿がかかって悪臭が発し始める4~5日後には崩壊して簀の子状部材の下方に落下し、悪臭が発する前にその交換が容易にできること。【解決手段】杉の木粉100重量部に、コーンスターチ4重量部、固形パラフィン粉末1.5重量部及び硫酸アルミニウム0.5重量部を加え、リボンミキサーで撹拌混合した後に、適量の水分を加えて更にリボンミキサーで混練し、その後、ロール式加圧成形機(ディスクペレッタ)でペレット状に造粒した。そのペレット径を5mmにし、長さは7mmにカットした。その後、振動乾燥機で乾燥させた。【選択図】 なし
