The present invention relates to a composition which contains Eriobotrya japonica extract fractions and has immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory activities. More specifically, when the immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory activities of the Eriobotrya japonica extract fractions are tested, the phagocytic activity of the RAW 264.7 macrophages increases. The natural killer (NK) cell activity increases to improve the translation activity. The generation of nitric oxide is reduced in a concentration dependent manner as well as the TNF-&alpha generation. Accordingly, the immune function increases to confirm the immune enhancing activity and anti-inflammatory activity adjusting the immune system.
