PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus capable of displaying an endoscope image of a tissue surface acquired by an endoscope associated with elasticity information of tissue in the same line of sight to that of the endoscope.
SOLUTION: This medical image diagnostic apparatus consists of: three-dimensional volume data generation means for capturing a subject in a plurality of sectional planes and generating three-dimensional volume data of the tissue elasticity information of the subject storage means for storing the three-dimensional volume data image construction means for generating the endoscope image based on signals output from an endoscope probe inserted into the subject position/attitude detection means for detecting the position and attitude of the endoscope probe composed image generation means for reading the elasticity information corresponding to the endoscope image from the storage means and generating a composed image with the endoscope image and display means for displaying the composed image.
