PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing vine winding which prevents a prevention tool body from falling or soaring by a strong wind so that the prevention tool body is always held at an adequate height, whose mounting operation to a support wire and maintenance operation are simple.SOLUTION: The device for preventing vine winding for the utility pole support wire includes: the prevention tool body 1 in which a pair of semi-cylindrical bodies 1a, 1b are provided to open and close through a hinge part 2 at one side edge, and concave grooves 4a, 4b for guiding the support wire 40 are formed on an inner surface opposing to both of the semi-cylindrical bodies and a fixing body 20 in which the pair of semi-divided bodies 20a, 20b are provided to open and close through the hinge part 21a, 21b at one side edge, and an nipping/fastening mechanism 30 for nipping/fastening the support wire 40 is internally mounted.
