PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial trachea having the same structure as that of an inherent trachea.SOLUTION: A plurality of trachea cartilage parts 2 formed of a cartilage tissue 10 including cartilage cells are provided. A ring-shaped trachea ligament part 3 formed of a connective tissue 4 is provided. The trachea cartilage parts 2 are provided with a space between each other in respiratory tract direction. The trachea cartilage parts 2 are connected through the ring-shaped trachea ligament part 3. The trachea cartilage parts 2 and the trachea ligament parts 3 are formed into a tubular shape as a whole. The relatively flexible trachea ligament part 3 is included between the trachea cartilage parts 2. Consequently, an artificial trachea 1 having a flexible structure as a whole is formed.
