A system and method are provided for generating time resolved series of angiographic volume data having velocity or velocity-derived information integrated therewith. An image processing system is configured to receive angiographic volume data and flow sensitive imaging data and process the angiographic volume data and flow sensitive imaging data to generate a combined dataset. A display is configured to display the combined dataset as angiographic volumes having associated time-resolved, color-coded flow information.
