The invention relates to a method for stimulating the yield and quality in maize. According to the invention, the method consists in exposing the maize seeds, before seeding, to a low electromagnetic field, with wavelength ranging between 15...23.5 Hz, for 10 minutes, and the thus treated seeds must be seeded within 7 days from the date when the treatment was carried out.Invenţia se referă la o metodă de stimulare a producţiei şi calităţii porumbului. Metoda conform invenţiei constă din expunerea seminţelor de porumb, înainte de semănat, la un câmp electromagnetic scăzut, cu lungimi de undă cuprinse între 15...23,5 Hz, timp de 10 min, iar seminţele astfel tratate trebuie semănate în decurs de 7 zile de la data efectuării tratamentului.
