Provided is a plant cultivation apparatus using a social network service. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the plant cultivation apparatus using a social network service comprises: a case which is made of transparent material and forms an inner space in which a plant is placed； a sensing unit which measures at least one of luminosity, humidity, temperature, and carbon dioxide concentration in the inner space； a lighting unit which emits light to the inner space； a ventilation fan which introduces outside air into the inner space； a moisture supply unit which supplies moisture to the inner space； a communication unit which communicates with a terminal of a plant cultivator； and a control unit. In particular, the control unit assesses a status of the inner space based on at least one of the measured luminosity, humidity, and temperature； through an application installed on the terminal, registers a status message regarding the assessed status on a social network service (SNS) account of the plant cultivator； receives a control command generated by the application in response to a response message by the plant cultivator to the status message registered on the SNS account； and controls the lighting unit, the ventilation fan, and the moisture supply unit according to the control command.소셜 네트워크를 이용한 식물 재배 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 이용한 식물 재배 장치는, 식물이 배치되는 내부 공간을 형성하는 투명 재질의 케이스, 상기 내부 공간의 광량, 습도, 온도 및 이산화탄소 농도 중 적어도 하나를 측정하는 센싱부, 상기 내부 공간으로 광을 방출하는 조명부, 외부 공기를 상기 내부 공간으로 유입시키는 통풍 팬, 상기 내부 공간으로 수분을 공급하는 수분 공급부, 식물 재배자의 단말과 통신하는 통신부 및 상기 측정된 광량, 습도 및 온도 중 적어도 하나에 기초하여 상기 내부 공간의 상태를 판단하고, 상기 단말에 설치된 어플리케이션을 통해 상기 식물 재배자의 SNS(Social Network Service) 계정에 상기 판단된 상태에 대한 상태 메시지를 등록하며, 상기 SNS 계정에 등록된 상기 상태 메시지에 대한 상기 식물 재배자의 응답 메시지에 따라 상기 어플리케이션에서 생성된 제어 명령을 수신하여 상기 제어 명령에 따라 상기 조명부, 상기 통풍 팬 및 상기 수분 공급부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
