This lighting system includes a plurality of light source units, each of which is provided with: a light emitting element; a control unit which controls the emission intensity of the light emitting element; a reception unit which wirelessly receives a signal in a prescribed format; and a storage unit. When receiving first information about a dimming schedule of the corresponding light source unit, the reception unit outputs the first information to the storage unit, and the storage unit stores the input first information. When a signal for starting a control is input, the control unit reads the first information stored in the storage unit and controls the emission intensity of the light emitting element according to the dimming schedule written in the first information.
